MIG/MAG Welder – Wind Turbine Manufacturing

Our partner manufactures steel structures for wind turbines in Gliwice, Śląskie, Poland. The role suits a welder already confident in MIG/MAG work, in a steady production environment.

Recruitment and employment are handled through a licensed Polish employment agency (agencja pracy). Important note: this position does not offer visa sponsorship from Vietnam and is open only to candidates already legally resident in Poland. Under the rules in force since 1 June 2025, a visa issued by another Schengen country does not entitle the holder to work in Poland, even where a work permit is held.

What you will do

• Welding components and steel structures using MIG 135 or MAG 135.
• Reading and working to basic technical drawings.
• Selecting and adjusting welding parameters to suit the material and the joint.
• Preparing material and surfaces before welding.
• Checking weld quality and correcting defects.
• Keeping the work area and welding equipment to safety standard.

What you bring

• Proven experience welding with MIG 135 or MAG 135. This is a requirement.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings. This is a requirement.
• A good feel for welding parameters and the ability to weld independently.
• Physically fit for factory work and able to pass the occupational medical examination.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when the plant requires it. No Polish or English language requirement for this role.
• Legally resident in Poland, with valid residence and work documentation.
• Documents to prepare: passport (scans of all pages carrying information), residence card (scans of both sides plus the issuing decision, or confirmation that the card is pending), PESEL number, work permit and temporary residence registration. Do not submit expired documents.

Pay & working hours

• Contract type: umowa zlecenie, a service contract, with full ZUS social insurance and PIT contributions.
• Indicative net rates supplied by the plant, tied to measured performance: 29 PLN per hour below 90%, 32 PLN per hour at 90 to 100%, 33 PLN per hour above 100%.
• Shifts: you start on a single fixed shift, 06:00 to 14:00, approximately 176 hours a month. Overtime is available, and independent high performers are offered Saturdays, taking total hours to around 220 a month.
  • At 176 hours: approximately 5,104 to 5,808 PLN net per month (approx. 35.7 to 40.6M VND).
  • At 220 hours: approximately 6,380 to 7,260 PLN net per month (approx. 44.6 to 50.7M VND).

What sets this role apart

• Performance-based pay: 29 PLN net/hour below 90% performance · 32 PLN net/hour at 90 to 100% · 33 PLN net/hour above 100%.
• Accommodation: rent-free. Workers pay only utilities (electricity, gas, water, sewage) at 11 PLN per day, roughly 330 PLN a month. Once performance reaches 100%, accommodation and utilities are both free.
• Room to earn more: overtime is available, and independent, high-performing workers are offered Saturday shifts.
• Medical examination: occupational health check before starting, paid by the company.
• Work clothing: provided by the company.
• Contract: umowa zlecenie with full ZUS social insurance and PIT income tax.
• Work permit: filed and paid for by the employer of record.
