Poultry Processing and Packing Operative

Our partner is one of Poland’s largest poultry processing groups and among the largest in Europe, with over thirty years of operation. The plant sits in Niepołomice near Kraków, meets EU food safety standards, runs a highly automated line and maintains a professional working environment.

No previous experience is required. Operatives rotate between stations and are trained on site within a few days. This order is for fifteen people, making it the largest single opening in our partner’s current set.

Recruitment and employment are handled through a licensed Polish staffing company (agencja pracy) that is an official partner of Akay Program.

Important note: This position does not offer visa sponsorship from Vietnam. It is open only to candidates already legally resident in Poland. Under the rules in force since 1 June 2025, a visa issued by another Schengen country does not entitle the holder to work in Poland, even where a work permit is held.

Scope of work

• Packing and portioning poultry products.
• Separating parts to process, for example separating the gall bladder from the liver.
• Cutting and deboning poultry under the line leader’s direction.
• Packing goods in the warehouse.
• Working the hanging line. This station carries a separate premium when the norm is met.
• Cleaning the plant and washing trays and containers to food hygiene standard.
• Rotating between stations as directed by the shift manager.

Candidate requirements

• No experience required. New starters are trained on site within a few days.
• Good physical fitness, able to tolerate a cold environment and long periods standing.
• Punctual, diligent and manually dextrous. These are the three things the plant assesses in the first week.
• Able to pass the occupational medical examination before starting.
• Legally resident in Poland, holding a valid passport and valid residence documentation.
• Willing to work two shifts and Monday to Saturday.
• No Polish or English language requirement for this role.

Pay and working hours

• Pay is net and hourly, banded by total monthly hours: below 200 hours the rate is 24.51 PLN/hour, above 200 hours it is 25.50 PLN/hour applied to all hours.
• The hanging line pays 26.50 PLN net per hour where the norm is met.
• The plant runs Monday to Saturday on two shifts of 6 to 10 hours. In peak season shifts can extend to 13 hours where the worker volunteers. Shift start times are confirmed by the supervisor the day before, depending on the station.
• Accommodation costs 22 PLN per day, about 660 PLN a month, paid by the worker. The earnings figures above are given both before and after this charge so you can compare accurately.

Why this role stands out

• No experience needed: One of the few roles in this set open to candidates without a trade. On-site training within a few days.
• Pay by hours worked: 24.51 PLN net/hour under 200 hours a month · 25.50 PLN net/hour above 200 hours · 26.50 PLN net/hour on the hanging line when the norm is met.
• Earnings: Roughly 4,900 to 6,375 PLN net per month before accommodation. After the accommodation charge of about 660 PLN a month, roughly 4,240 to 5,715 PLN remains.
• Large order, fast processing: Fifteen positions. The order is urgent and complete applications are processed in order of submission.
• Accommodation: 22 PLN per day, about 660 PLN a month, in company-arranged apartments.
• Medical examination: Occupational health check before starting.
• Work permit: Filed and paid for by the employer of record.
